Sony Entertainment Lab: Berlin, Germany.

SEL was a proposal for an entertainment and technology showcase at Sony’s European headquarters. It contains a dedicated media development center where artists perform research during six-month residencies.

The lab is divided into three sections:

A public exhibition area with four independently programmable presentation “arenas”. Each arena features circular front and rear projection screens and surround sound hardware. Visitors trigger presentation events by moving through the exhibit’s predefined 3D sensor zones.

NYC Zoning.

Zoning channels the city’s growth and density. It regulates the ambitions of development within the framework of urban preservation and economic stimuli.

Zoning consultants specialize in optimizing site analyses toward maximum return on property investment. This objective intersects architectural and legal disciplines. It often requires reviews and hearings with municipal and community agencies.

The red box in the image shows what happens when zoning is disregarded and facts are built to the detriment of developers and communities.

Drop a line if you’re interested in obtaining a zoning analysis for your project.
